Edem Wornoo is a Ghanaian-British writer and director hailing from South London.
Wornoo is known for his music videos for the likes of Dave, Stormzy, Fredo, Big Zuu and Wretch 32 alongside his carefully constructed, poignant narrative work. Thematically, his work consists of street level fantasies that draw out the magic in the people, places and things that he grew up around in South London.
A flexible creative palette has gained Wornoo features in The Face’s ‘13 Names To Know Under 30’ and TheBritishBlackList as well as an award for best Screenplay at SoulFest x American Black Film Festival and a selection at London Short Film Festival for his recent short ‘Butterfly Affect’ which he directed and wrote.
Recently, Wornoo 2nd Unit directed and wrote an episode on an original new drama ‘Champion’ from Candice Carty-Williams for the BBC and Netflix.
